Week 34: Dona Ana and Las Colinas Wards, Las Cruces, NM

We talked to some guys this week and one guy named Poncho, sprayed us with us hose. It was really funny, and hot out so it was nice.

We did a lot more service this week than we normally do! It was super fun and multiple times I forgot to put on sunscreen. Who needs sunscreen?  Well in New Mexico it's already in the 90s so I'm hoping I get tan and my redhandedness doesn't cause me to become a lobster.

We had a lesson with our friend Rob this week. He lives at a group home for recovering addicts and people who lived on the streets. We were just sitting on a bench outside trying to teach him the restoration. This guy Martin rides up and starts saying, praise the lord! It was very funny, but Rob got mad at him. Later Martin rode back out on his bike and fell on his face. As he was on his face he said "praise the lord" and it was hilarious. Also another guy walked up to us and was like, "you guys look like angels! I never seen anyone in Las Cruces who looks as clean as you!" It was very funny.

We met with Evan and Laura again, we were going to stop teaching them, but they had so many questions that it was hard to. So next week we will try🤷‍♀️

We finally met with our friend Henry again!! His girlfriend is a member and her kids  always have so many questions! It's very cute.

We met with Leo again and he wants to start meeting with us. We met a friend of his who is a very less active member and he turned out to be a creepo.  So hopefully we don't see him again.

We painted for Sister Cooley and that was very fun.

We are in finding mode right now for our area. But things are well.

I love you all so very much. Something I'm very grateful for is temples. I'm grateful that God loves us so much to give us more power amd more help in our lives. I'm so grateful for the safety of this church.  We meet with a lot of people who doubt their faith and it makes me very sad. Our mission president said it's good to have questions but we shouldn't have doubts.

I know that I need to hold on the what I know and search for the answers for questions I don't understand. God always wants us to search for more.

I love you all, and to all my missionary friends, yall are doing wonderful, I just know it.

Also, happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms that are such a light in the world.

Love Sister Crofts
