Week 32: Dona Ana and Las Colinas Wards, Las Cruces, NM

 Hola!

So this week I was sick Wednesday through now. Just the flu, but I have to stay inside till Thursday 😐 I guess that's part of mission life.
We met with one of our less active members Tuesday and it was really awesome! All her 5 kids had so many questions and the mom's boyfriend wants to be baptized! We haven't got in contact with them recently, but hopefully we do soon! Just been having a lot of naps this week though. Oh yeah, it was transfers and I'm staying here with Sister Greenfield. After this transfer I will have been here 9 months. Kinda crazy. Sometimes I want to leave, sometimes I don't want to. I guess we'll see what God wants for me in the future. Love yall! Week 31: Dona Ana and Las Colinas Wards, Las Cruces, NM

This week was pretty great! A lot of fun and interesting things happened.

We are teaching this new guy, Larry. He's 80 something, very paranoid, but he is super sweet and loves meeting with us. He was really nervous about coming to church, but with the help of some awesome fellowship, he came!! I'm excited for him!

Another cool guy is Kenneth, we only started teaching him this week. He is actually our neighbor across from us and he is super nice! He's gone through a lot in the past and has solid faith in Christ. We have really spiritual lessons with him and I'm excited to see what happens!

Church was awesome yesterday! We are over two wards and have 4 hours of church. One of the sacrament meetings I sat by this lady in the ward, sister Cooley and there were soo many loud kids so we were just cracking up at all of them haha it was awesome.

Mwashite got baptized!! It's been a stressful process, but I'm glad she is baptized. She is super sweet.

I also filmed my First Ever Music video this week! It was really fun!!  It was really fun doing and will go on our mission Facebook page

We had some awkward street contacting this week. Apparently people don't want to hear the gospel while hunting for eggs, who knew lol

We also saved a dog yesterday. We were knocking on a friend's door and we saw this pit-bull running around and my comp saw the owners drive away. We called animal control and waited with the dog. My comp fed it jellybeans while we waited so it wouldn't run away. The animal control guy was really mad at us, but oh well, we saved the dog, that's what mattersπŸ˜…πŸ˜πŸ™ƒπŸ™‚

Love yall!!! I know this church is true and that matters because it has God's power in it. Christ can bless us in the fullest and we can be happy forever! What wonderful news of the gospel

Happy Easter! I love yall and I love being a missionary. Lots of times it can be mundane, stressful, frustrating, and other things, but it's also very joyfully, silly, and sweet.

Love Sister Crofts

Week 30: Dona Ana and Las Colinas Wards, Las Cruces, NM

This week we had a lot of meetings, but they were great!!

Zone conference was awesome! I was feeling a bit unmotivated the previous week and it just pumped me up!! We learned about expecting miracles and helping people accept invitations.

I also went on exchanges this week and went to the Spanish area and I got to practice my Spanish. It isn't very existent, but I'm learning!

Interviews with the President were really good. I was complaining a bit to him, and he was like, "are you done whining now?" Hahah it was awesome and he said it in a loving way so it was nice. He really loves all of us and boosts my Confidence. He is called of God.

Stake Conference was amazing!! I was crying the whole time. We had 4 hours of meetings Saturday and Sunday and every single talk was perfect.  One talk talked about doing good anyway, even if people hate, ignore or are unfriendly you, do good anyway.

I love being a missionary and it is the Lord's work. This church is true, God's power is in it and it will bless your life.

Love you!!
